Mario Level 2

Mario Level 2 is truly one of the most strangely compulsive Mario clones out there. The almost child-like graphics hide a game of Mario that's fiendishly difficult, yet fantastically addictive. Is it a game flaw that you seem to have to jump a little early to clear the incoming Koopas? Nope, that's a 'feature' that you'll have to get used to very quickly indeed if you want to get through this game. How about the collision detection that makes it tricky to get up on some blocks that are just a little too high? Learn it quick, or that Koopa will be right behind you. Did I mention that you can't jump on enemies to kill them? No? Well, I hope you didn't just find out the hard way, then.

Seriously, for a great challenge give this game a go, you'll either love it when you complete it or spend ages trying to get that little bit further if you can't.
